Colostrum, also called ‘Colostrum’, is the first breast milk that all mammals receive from their mother. In the first few days (which are crucial for survival, development & health) the composition of the breast milk is quite unique, and it contains significantly more valuable nutrients than after this initial phase.

Instructions for use
Start with 2 capsules per day for the first 5 days, then 3 capsules for 5 days, eventually take 3-6 capsules per day, unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor or therapist.

Is the colostrum unprocessed?
Yes, the colostrum is freeze-dried raw, without removing the fats from the colostrum. This way we keep the product whole food and as nutritious as possible.
Does the calf get enough colostrum?
Yes, absolutely. We only use the colostrum that remains AFTER optimal consumption by the calf, ensuring the calf gets what it deserves and we can optimally benefit from the unique properties of colostrum.
Are children also allowed to take colostrum capsules?
Yes, our colostrum capsules are also suitable for children.
How do you measure the quality of the colostrum?
By means of a refractometer, we measure the brix value.
This measures the quality of the colostrum by determining the number of dissolved solids, which provides an indication of the content of immunoglobulins (IgG) or antibodies. This is important because the concentration of these antibodies determines the immunity the calf receives and thus the resistance and health in the first weeks of life.
What is the quality of the colostrum?
Depending on the brix value, but we only use the 24-36 hour colostrum after calving. During this period, the colostrum is the most potent, after which the quality will gradually decrease.
Why is there a pregnancy logo on the packaging?
The colostrum in our capsules is raw freeze-dried and is therefore a raw milk product. It is legally required to mention this on the packaging.
